Connors Baby Dedication

On Sunday we had Connor dedicated in front of our church, promising to honor our child by teaching him to live a Godly life and to love God with all his heart. We were explaining this to Caleb early on in the morning, shortly after I found Caleb talking to Connor and this is what he said;
"Connor in your body you have a heart, and God loves this little heart very much".
Caleb is awesome, he is very bright and intuitive. He thinks about things alot, and this was very precious to hear him say.
Some of the pictures are grainy and not very good so sorry.

Yeah I can finally tie Hayley's hair up again and she loves it. She always tells Jeff he is not aloud to cut it or mummy will cry.

Our Happy 4 month old

Connor is 4 months old today and man time has flown. We are loving his huge smiles and constant chatter, though this week he has learnt to squeal, that isn't much fun all day.
Connor we love you and are so glad God blessed us with such a wonderful surprise.

Changes are happening.

Kids are supposed to be sleeping but its always more fun when Connor joins them for the nightly routine

Happy boys
Connor almost needs a bigger car seat
so happy and smiley

the boys are engrossed in something

Well quite a bit has happened this week and its only Tuesday.
Firstly, Connor has learnt he can roll, he gets stuck on his big tummy sometimes and becomes a beached whale, but Hayley often comes to his rescue and gives him a push over. So time to baby proof the house and teach the kids to keep things out of his reach if they don't want them eaten.
He has also found that he has a tongue, so it gets poked in and out of his mouth all day, this is proving rather difficult when feeding him, so if feels likes I'm constantly feeding him cause he starts fiddling with his tongue and forgets to feed, so is starving 30 min later. Plus the amount of drool involved means lots of bibs.
So in the mater of a week we have gone from a chatty, contented and non moving baby, to rolling, tongue protuding drooling chaos. Oh but its so cute and fun.

This Sunday at church they are having a baby dedication service, so we will be taking part in that with Connor.

The other piece of news is that I am not returning to work, it is something we have been discussing and praying about for a while now and today it was made abundantly clear that I was to stay at home with the kiddies which I am surprisingly excited about. Jeff is thrilled as well so just get to stay at home a play now. Will be a bit poorer now, but hey who cares, God always provides.

Yip so yeah that's all the news for now. Take care love you all.

Funny faces

If you get close I will eat you

Hello all, well things are going great.
Caleb is doing great a school, though he is still quite tired every day. He is starting to recognise words when we are out and about now, and can read small sentences. He starts a programme after school tomorrow which is called Kelly sports which teaches him co-ordination and different skills required for different sports, so he is super excited about that.
Hayley has started dance lessons, which she is thrilled about, she loves getting dressed up and prancing around in front of huge mirrors.
Connor is now just over 3 months and at his 3 month check ;
weight 15 pound
length 25 inches
so yeah he is in the 95% range for his age.

Jeff is the same not much if anything has changed with him, and me well im still at home and loving it. I will hopefully return to work on Nov 1st 09.
