Hayley Christmas present
So I have been wanting to make Hayley a Large Barbie dolls house for quite some time now, but could never find the time. So this year since I wasn't working and had time off from school I took the opportunity to get started. I drew the plans and dimensions and took them to the local building supply store and they cut the wood to size for me. Then I went out to a friends house whose hubby has every power tool under the sun and is very crafty, with his help and tools I was able to build the structure and then move it to Jeffs to work to complete all the finer points of painting and decorating. In all the project took me about 30 hours of which I am very happy with. Hope you like it.

Hayley as David
Well life is still rather hectic even though I am currently on break from my studies, I have managed to squeeze out a bit of time to out up some pictures. Hayley turned 6 on November 3rd and we had a small celebration with some of her friends at our place after school. Thankfully she understood how chaotic things were for me so she was very kind in requesting a very quick and easy cake.Hayley has been very busy preparing for her dance recital which was 2 weeks ago now, but she did awesome and she loved it, though she has informed us she is not dancing next year. She also took part in the church Christmas play which she played the character David.
Hayley has also lost her front tooth.... as she is proudly showing off with her mini gingerbread man.

Church prayer evening
The Tomb - before the floor was done and the lighting ect....
The Garden of Eden
More of the Garden 6 meters x 4 meters
Calvary - prayer and reflection area.
Garden of Gethsemane.
I was asked by the pastor of our church to create 4 areas in which people could walk into, sit down, reflect and pray. He wanted the Garden of Eden, Gethsemane, the Tomb and then Calvary. And above is what I came up with. They were 4 individual rooms that you entered, you could not see the other rooms until you walked into that specific area. 3 of the rooms were 4 x 4 meters and 1 room was 6 x meters. It took me about 3 weeks to paint the murals and about 2 day to set it all up. This was more than what my pastor was expecting and the overall event surprised alot of people. It was a very successful event and one that moved and challenged people in there faith. I had a lot of fun but not something I want to do again in suck a short amount of time.
Kids in uniform
Caleb and Hayley started at Hukanui School this year. Its a public school so that will make life a bit easier for us.
They were both excited to start a new school, and so far both have fitted in great and are really enjoying the school.
